enjoyed a flying visit to belgrade, serbia recently. great experience from start to finish. terminal 2 is a joy, relaxing compared to the rest of the airport and fly dubai have to be commended both for the interesting destinations on offer as well as their great service. you might have to pay for tea, coffee and even tv. but you've just saved a fortune on tickets and the prices for food and drink is very reasonable. thumbs up, i'll be flying with flydubai again.
I flew from Dubai to Kuwait recently and whilst the inflight experience is good for a budget airline and all the aircraft are modern, the Company's reputation for cancelling flights is becoming worrying. After I had completed my business in Kuwait I turned up to catch my 6:30 plight back to Dubai, at the check in desk the attendant said "did someone from Fly Dubai contact you" I said "No, why would they, have I won a prize?" He told me my 6:30 flight had been cancelled. Obviously this was a big disappointment to me but the attendant said " don't worry you are booked on our next flight at 8:45 pm" and then he checked, "actually sir, I am sorry you are not booked on this flight but you have been booked on the 10:25pm flight" I had a 4 hour wait in the airport and eventually returned to Dubai in the early hours of the next morning which was not good. It wouldn't be so bad if this was an isolated case but I have been told by friends that they had the same experience with Fly Dubai on a trip to The Maldives, flight mysteriously cancelled and on asking other people it appears this is a regular occurrence with this airline. So they might get you there but there is no guarantee when they will get you back.
Great value and great service
Recently traveled to Kuwait on Fly Dubai. I can't fault their service at all, as the price is so reasonable, and the service is great for such short journeys. Just one piece of advice for Fly Dubai, it might be good to let passengers know that their is a new 'Fly Dubai' only area in Kuwait airport now and is not connected to the main airport. They moved the terminal a couple of months ago, I found out when I landed. It works out much better though, as zero queues to get through immigration or when you are departing (took me 5 mins to check in and go through immigration on way out).
Great low-fare airline but not so great terminal
The airline and staff and everyone is wonderful I have been using this airline for the past 4 years going to and from Beirut. The only downside is the terminal that is much less accommodating (last trip was a nightmare with all the constructions). While having 3 belts assigned for luggages, they constrict 3-4 flights on that one same belt so one ends up waiting for up to an hour for luggage.
Otherwise check-in super fast and airline super clean and neat.
I fly with flydubai every weekend. They're prices are starting to increase little by little which isn't satisfying. Also wish they would sort out they're delays I think I've only been on one flight that has been on time which is disappointing. They should consider doing a loyalty programme for travellers who fly with them every week as I see a lot of regulars who use flydubai's service often.
clean and convenient flight
Flew to Oman today by FZ043 and had could not ask for more as all airport procedures were so seamlessly fast and flt was on time, landing in Oman before time. Great experience all the way.
Wasn't expecting much, was impressed very much!
Great operation, went in with little expectation but left very impressed and would be very happy to use the airline again! Nice new jets, very very friendly staff and good choice of purchases on board. Good work Fly Dubai!
Not the best
Afraid I didn't really like this airline. The 'low fare' was pretty much the same as other brands and the service was worse compared to others. There's also a tonne of extra costs, choosing seats extra cost, watching tv or movies extra cost, food extra cost... other airlines are better
